Fantastic Run For Fantastic Sum –

A fantastic collection of $3500 was gathered by the 12 members of the Gisborne Boys High School I.H.C. Relay Team. Each year a team of students has run increasingly further distances to raise money for the local branch of the I.H.C. Society, This year the boys' run was 800 miles, taking in Rotorua, New Plymouth and Palmerston North, and then back to Gisborne. They give up a week of the May holidays to take part in the venture and although over the years the runners have changed, the spirit has not.
