Still Roaring

The Tolaga Bay Lions Club is still roaring powerfully and putting plenty of muscle behind its projects. Recently a great pride of members gathered to cut and collect manuka and saw it up for firewood. This was distributed to needy people, mainly pensioners and widows. The project took two Saturdays to complete and there are now some very happy people looking forward to warm nights by the fire during the coming winter.
