Combined Fashion

The combined committees of the Wainui Surf Club and the Wainui Recreational Hall presented a very much enjoyed fashion parade and social evening at the Sandown Hotel. Entitled "A Touch Of Autumn," and featuring garments from the fashion houses of Charita and Colliers Menswear, the function raised $600 for equal distribution between the two organisations. Wainui residents and club members modelled the clothes for this very successful occasion.

Kay Hills models this elegant bridal gown. Her appearance was the highlight and finale to a very successful parade.
