Weekend Of Worth

Eighty adults and twenty children attended the Play-centre School held at Rangitukia, near Tikitiki, recently and found a wealth of information available from a worthwhile weekend. Speech patterns and vocabulary habits, listening skills, sound and movement, mathematics and the pre-schooler, panel discussions, and the inclusion of a pottery demonstration were all part of the weekend activities.

Schools adviser in mathematics Brian McEntee stresses that the subject does not have to be at all dull, as so many parents and students believe it to be.
