Goliath And David?

In the famous biblical story David took on the giant Goliath and eventually slew him. Transfer that story to this day's road accident scene and we find the roles dramatically reversed. If a smaller car collides with a much larger vehicle it is usually the smaller vehicle which comes off second best. On May 30, just after 8.30 p.m. and opposite the Showgrounds, a spectacular accident occurred involving a bus and a car. Both car and bus slewed across the road after the collision and broke a power pole, plunging the Makaraka area into darkness. Luckily the bus occupants were only slightly shaken, while those in the car escaped with their lives.
