Kahutia Closing
A very enjoyable evening function was held in the clubhouse to mark the end of the season for the Kahutia Bowling Club on April 26. The presentation of trophies won during the year was the highlight of the evening and these were presented by club president George Weatherley.
Mr Weatherley presents the cup for the most improved player to popular winner John Jones.
The intermediate champion for 1974-75 is Alf Gibson.
Junior pairs champions John Jones and Ian Harrison.
The best all-round clubman trophy goes to Alan Jones.
The senior rinks title went to Bill Gardiner, Terry Gardiner and (absent) Colin Hume and Ernie Nicholson.
The junior rinks winners are, from left, Ian Harrison, Noel Petherick, Noel Dunlop and John Jones.
George and Geoff Weatherley took the senior pairs title.
