Of Luxury Boats...

The “Caravelle,” owned by John Barns-Graham and Pat Cuthbert, was successfully launched from the boat ramp into the Taruheru River on August 29. The 24-foot boat is the largest outboard cruiser in the district, being powered by two 135hp Johnson outboards. Worth $20,000, the “Caravelle” (which was completely outfitted by Glennies' Marine and can be chartered by private arrangement) is equipped with radio-telephone, toilet, chart room, sink and fresh and salt water systems, fridge and stereo.
