Eighteen—Nil To B.H.S.
The Boys High School 1st XV climaxed a very successful season when they defied a determined struggle by the Hastings Boys High School XV to beat them eighteen to nil. A large crowd came to witness this game which showed rugby at its best.

Scoring Gisborne's last try is Chris Stevens who goes over near the corner despite the efforts of two Hastings players to hold him back.
