It's All In The Toes

The art of rockin' along in any rocking chair is not as easy as some would have you believe. And to rock along properly, and continuously, calls for great expertise. Sixteen members of the Te Hapara Christian Youth Movement arranged sponsors for their “Rockathon” and raised the fantastic sum of $300 towards the C.Y.M.'s Save The Children sponsorship boy in Vietnam.

Sharon Wooster takes the opportunity to catch up on some rug making. Hope her eyes don't rock out.

Brenda Russell proves you can play cards and knit at the same time (more or less) as she challenges Shaun Fahey in a game of what-ever-you-call-it.

Just to make sure nobody rocks themselves to sleep, Megan Ellis gives a loud musical (?) blast every now and again.

Peter Worsnop finds the big print not so hard to concentrate on in a rockin' rocking chair.

Two other card fiends, in Leigh Turner and Peter Briant, manage to keep playing and rocking at the same time. How they do it we don't know but there is a hard looking mascot there to keep everybody up to scratch!
