Move Over, Plus Men
Top handicap players in Gisborne Golf Clubs had better start looking to their laurels in future if the promise shown by some of the junior golfers comes up to expectations. Organised by the P.B. Junior Golf Society, with a grant from the national body and assistance from the local golf association, young players are being given lessons by professional Roger Maisey.
John Kinge (on a handicap of 14 already) practices with a five iron under the tuition of Mr Maisey.
Placement of the hands and correct grip are the secret of the successful golfer.
