This 941b hapuka was caught by Tatapouri Sports Fishing Club member Sefton Gregory on May 12. Fishing from his boat 'Star Hunter' Mr. Gregory had quite a job to get the fish off the bottom. However, it was worth the effort as it turned out to be the heaviest groper ever caught and recorded by a member of the club.
