On Her Way!

"Dolly" is on her way to Gisborne, arriving here in October. Rehearsals are well under way for that great musical "Hello Dolly." The cast have really got their working clothes on and are hard at it to bring us a top-notch show.

Producer Jack Roderick, at the piano, gives some singing directions to four of the principals, Lee Pascoe, Celia Whitworth, Marion Goodwin and John Drummond.

Supporting Alison Thompson in the title role of "Dolly" is Don Ramsey.

The gentlemen of the chorus have their numbers well under control.

Also in the cast are, from left, Simon Evenbly, Johanna O'Sullivan and Phillippa de Lautour (as the horse), and Terry Wood.

Two others in supporting roles are Carol Hessell and Les Everett.

The ladies' chorus is particularly strong for this show.
