Bear-Foot Bonanza!
The Floral Festival held a very successful two-day bonanza at the Central School on August 31 and •September 1. All sorts of stalls did brisk business, with other attractions adding to the festive air.
Surprising everyone as they strolled arounc town advertising the bonanza were The Three Bears (Noeline Williamson, Amanda Schultz and Megan Ellis).
Young Tracey'Magan, granddaughter of Mr and Mrs R. Tietjen, brought along this seven-week-old goat, Johnny by name, who was somewhat averse to bears, it seems. The bear house is the prize in a raffle.
