Mr Norman Charnley and his wife Doris, Kelvin Street, celebrated their Golden Wedding recently with a family dinner party. This was held at the home of their daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Ian Shaw. Mrs Charnley was formerly Doris Read, and the couple were married in 1923. They are pictured with daughter Mrs Shaw.
