Large Entries
A large number of boys and girls once again entered this year's Radio Gisborne-Road Transport Bicycle Safety Contest. Traffic Officer I. Banks conducted the contest which was, unfortunately, marred by rain towards the end.
The winner and place-getters received their prizes from 2ZG manager Mr I. Vernazoni. They are, from left, Anne Chamberlain, who also won the cup for the year, Don van Dorp (3) and Rocky Ellmers (2). At back are Traffic Officer Banks and Mr Vernazoni.
