40 Years' Service

Pictured on the day of her retirement from the teaching profession is Mrs P. E. Smith. Mrs Smith, who has been dedicated to teaching for the past forty years, has spent the last 12 years at the Riverdale School with whose pupils she is shown. Also pictured are Puke Smith and Karen Grantham, who made presentations on behalf of the pupils, and Mr D. Johnston, chairman of the school committee, who made a presentation on their behalf.
