Well Ashore

The happy dancers were well and truly ashore at the Waerenga-o-kuri School Shipwreck Dance, held in the 'Kuri Hall, recently. Parents, friends and pupils had a great time, all joining in the gay evening.

Matthew Wakelin was one who managed to get ashore without actually wrecking his boat.

The hall was decorated with fish nets, model fish, and ten of these large murals on the walls, all made by the pupils of the school. Standing in front of one of the murals are, from left, Susan McGovern, Robyn Williams, Beverly Young, Anna Steele and Gillian Binsted.
