One In Five
Rawinia Poi, daughter of Mr and Mrs J. Poi, 28 Tyn-dall Road, has been chosen as one of the five members (from all of New Zealand) for this year's 1972 Youth For Christ Teen team. The team tours as "musical ambassadors" and, this year, will go through Indonesia and Malaysia. For Rawinia this also means some personal sacrifice as, beside taking leave from work without pay, each team members is required to contribute $200 towards the fares and expenses. Rawinia, 19, is a nurse at Cook Hospital and has just passed her Nursing exams.
