Stock Car Presentations

A very enjoyable trophy presentation cabaret, to mark the end of the season, was held by the Gisborne Stock Car Club, in the Archery Hall.

Harold Ingram (right) receives the Pall Mall trophy for most points gained in the Pall Mall stock car feature race. Presenting the trophy is the firm's representative, Alan Chapman. Mr.Ingram, who was named Clubman of the Year, also won the R. J. Shields trophy for most points in stock car races.

Club president Gerry Huberts presented the other trophies, here to Steve Clare, winner of the Gisborne Motors' cup, as runner-up in most points for production cars. The winner, C. Topp, was absent. (Pix from K.K.K.)

Low's Reception trophy for most consistent stock car drivers: R. and P. Stevenson.
