Bay Beats Valley

Poverty Bay beat Thames Valley, 32-12, in a representative game at Rugby Park on July 1. Although the game was lacking in finish some good tries were scored by Poverty Bay.

Poverty Bay's first try came when five-eighths Ken White clamped down on a loose ball. The other P.B. player, at left, is winger Alan Peterson.

A runaway try was scored by captain and No.8 Ian Kirkpatrick. At right is P.B. winger Mike Lister.
