Guild Birthday
The St Mark's Elgin Ladies' Guild celebrated its 15th birthday with an afternoon meeting and social in the Church Hall, on June 22. Mrs B. Allen read out her very interest. ing account of the guild's formation and its work over the years.

As part of a Japanese promotion during "The Mikado" week, Radio Gisborne staged a bonsai growing demonstration in their studio. The art of growing the miniature trees was shown by Mrs Joy Kinloch, who is seen here, in the studio, with some of her audience.
