Prevention Is-

Prevention is much better than cure and to this end the Police Department conducted a two-day Crime Prevention Seminar, recently. A very large crowd of businessmen attended the lectures and films, which were conducted by experts from various criminology departments. The prevention of losses through shoplifting, stock thefts, staff and customer thefts, employee collusion, valueless cheques, unlawful entry, burglary and safe blowing were only some of the subjects covered during the course.

The seminar was organised by the regional crime prevention officer, Detective Sergeant John Kuzmich (left), and Sergeant Joe Franklin, who chaired the meetings.
