Knocking Them Off
The junior title in 1969, the intermediate title in 1970, and the senior title in 1971. That is the record of Brett Ryan in the Lytton High steeplechase. He put up a good time under windy conditions to take his third title in a row in this annual cross-country event.
A title each year
Brett Ryan strides home, an easy winner.
Racing home for second place in the senior event is Jody Walters.
Winner of the senior girls' section was Beverley Dickinson.
The intermediate boys' section was won by Chris Hurdle.
Coming home in second place in the intermediate section is Roger Clarke.
