Starve-In Raises $400

Funds For Refugees

Refugees in East. Pakistan will benefit by the $400 raised by the Young Christian Students at a Starve- In held at the Edmund Campion College over the weekend of October 9 and 10. All the students were sponsored and extra donations were also received.

Filling in time over the long hungry hours, from 8 p.m. Friday to noon on the Sunday, did not prove too hard. When not sleeping the time was taken up writing letters, making music, watching the portable TV set or just talking.
