Leaping was of a high standard, matching the high jumping, at the N.Z, Horse Society's jumping show held at the showgrounds. Since this show, Stuart Mitchell and Jatent have set a new New Zealand record of 6ft. 11ins. at the jumping show at Hastings. Placegetters in the Maekinlays A grade table A are pictured here.
