Frome Ball Gowns To Swimsuits

Highlight of the spring fashion show organised by the McGlashen Swimming Club was the appearance of Miss Waikato, Miss Deidre Bruton (runner-up to Miss N.Z.). Deidre was a logical choice for the swimming club as she has had a long and successful career as a national class swimmer. The parade was sponsored by Melbourne Cash and McMillan's Shoe Store.
