Candid Camera

The children at the day nursery of the Heni Materoa Children's Home had a great treat recently when a lamb was brought in for the day. The animal created great excitement particularly when feeding time came round and the young ones were allowed to give the lamb its bottle.

One of Charlie Brown's windows created a lot of interest during the boxing championships. All the trophies for the different classes in the boxing tournament were on display. Also included was a picture of Tom Heeney taken in his heyday.

This odd looking animal is not what it appears to be. What it is, is hard to say. Perhaps it is a Zizziz! One of them odd looking animals what appears to be anything. Use your imagination. Actually it is a lemon which was brought into us by Mr P. C. Lundon, 293 Palmerston Road.
