Rain, Rain, Go Away!

With the unseasonal rains at this time of the year gardeners with dahlias under cultivation for the National Dahlia Show were having qualms about getting perfect blooms. To the Colin McLeods, 666 Aberdeen Road, however, the obvious way to protect anything from the rain is to use an umbrella, so why not for dahlias in the garden? And they did just that! Pictured among some of the perfect specimens in the garden is their daughter Prue who is touching her namesake flower, Prudence McLeod.
