Boating Bathing Beauties

Nine young lovelies drew a large crowd when they entered for the Miss Gisborne Boat Show 1969 bathing beauty contest. The contest was run in conjunction with the Boat and Caravan Show run by the Lions club at Anzac Park.

One of the judges, Mr Jock White, is nicely rewarded after announcing Cheryl Borlase as the winner of the contest - or was it the other way round? The winner, Cheryl Borlase is pictured during the judging of the event.
