Mailing in the Mall

The new Post Office in Kaiti Hall was officially opened by the postmaster-General, Mr W. J. Scott, on February 18.

This latest addition to the mall gives all mailing and postal facilities to customers who shop in this centre.

The official party at the commemorative plaque are, from left, the Mayor and Mayoress, Mr and Mrs H. H. Barker, Mr Scott, Mrs Esme Tombleson, M.P., Mr E. W. de Lisle, Assistant Director-General, and the Chief Postmaster, Gisborne, Mr R. B. McKenzie.
