Pastor Lex Cullen and Andupi (right). Pastor Cullen was first a medical assistant, and now a missionary, with the Apostolic Church in New Guinea. He is on furlough with his wife and four children. He made a short visit to Gisborne, bringing with him Andupi, who is an elder in the church at Wage, in the Western Highlands of New Guinea. Andupi, who is married with two children, is the first New Guinean trained in the church to visit New Zealand. Both men were guests of Mr and Mrs Akuhata-Brown, 476a Palmerston Road.
