Out & About

The camping area chosen by the Guides for their Endeavour Camp was this delightful area in a valley on Turihaua Station. The well sheltered valley made an ideal camping spot.

The last of the DC3 services took place a few weeks back with the flight out of Gisborne of two of the aircraft. They were the Gisborne and the Westport. All schedules are now serviced by Friendships.

The city's Highland Pipe Band under the leadership of Bryson Watt continues to serve the area well. Here they are seen playing for the marching display given at the recent athletic championships.
