Here & There

This Anglia doesn't look quite the same after being involved in a crash. The occupants all survived without serious injury, which would appear to be a miracle. But we can't all rely on miracles if we are involved in any sort of crash and the best thing to do is avoid them.

Road courtesy is one item which can go a long way to reducing accidents.

Three giant mushrooms were found on the side of Brown's Road at Ormond by Trevor Porter who is seen holding the largest one. It measured 9½ inches across. The others were eight and seven inches. Trevor, who goes to the Intermediate school, is the son of Mr and Mrs Ray Porter, 565A Aberdeen Road.

There mightn't be anything unusual about a cat and a guinea-pig but when they play together then that is a little different. Edward Burroughs of 1 Abbott Street has two such pets and they are named, simply, Guinea and Cat. At top is Edward with Guinea. At right the cat and guinea-pig play together.
