Canine Capers

The Gisborne Dog Training Club, fast becoming one of the leading Clubs of its kind in the country, held an end of year social and prize-giving just before Christmas. Five dogs from the club also recently gained their Companion Dog Excellent awards, a stiff kind of exam to pass, as an aggregate of 90% must be obtained. Those who gained the award were, from left, above: Buck (Kaye Taylor), Satan (Colin Kendall), Conrad (David Pilkington), Rusty (Karen Hollis), and, below left, Bart (Gary Leslie).
