Fascinating Exhibition

A most fascinating and interesting exhibition was organised by the boys and girls of the Intermediate school to raise funds towards the new I.H.C. hostel. They brought all manner of interesting objects and pieces from their homes and these were displayed in the Assembly Hall. By charging the rest of the pupils three cents a head, over $20 was raised from the project- a great example of unselfishly doing something for others.

Surrounding Miss M. Dunfoy with her Turkish pipe are Amo Williams, Brian Gibbons, Wayne Wooster, Jillian van der Velde and Janet Solomon.

With objects from various countries are Penny Sheridan, Sharleen Light, Karen Pearce (at back), and Robyn Hughes, Leonie Hall, Amo Williams and Janet Solomon.

David Callion, Max Gully, Peter Andrew (at back), and Brian Lunam, Euan MacDougall, Bruce Kennedy and John Whittle with a couple of birds.

Jillian van der Velde, Joanne McGhee, Alison McKnight, Mrs D. Atkins, Noelene Jones, Margaret Gerrard and Angela Stratton are pictured with some Island basketware.

David Cheffers, Albert van der Plancke, Martin Baker, Stephen Tyler, Ian Lennie, David Grace, Bruce Madden and Trevor Porter display some wicked looking instruments collected from different sources.
