The annual reunion of retired Post Office people was held in Low's Reception rooms. Ex-employees had a great time talking over the old days.

Former Gisborne residents Jim and Myrl Kitney recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. They now live in Papatoetoe. They are pictured with six of their ten children. Another 25th wedding anniversary celebrated up Auckland way was that of Mr and Mrs Charles Smith, formerly of Gisborne. Their son Gerald gave a dinner party at the "El Cortez" restaurant in their honour.
