One of the most novel prizes ever offered in a raffle, and one that is already creating an amount of intense interest is that of a section at Wainui Beach. This Jaycee project, convened by Peter Hutchings, is to raise money to buy a new bus for the Intellectually Handicapped Children Society. Tickets are to be sold at $2 each and will be limited to 3,000. Occupying a wonderful situation, the section (marked in white above), is only a stone's throw from the beach and the Chalet Rendezvous, at left.
