"A Toast To Gisborne"

So say the boys of "The Avengers" who were in town recently to play for one night. Photographed while having a meal at the Blue Heron restaurant the boys are, from left, Steve Roberts (road manager), Clive Coburn, Dave Brown, Eddie McDonald and Hank Davis.

"The Avengers" would be one of the best dressed groups on stage, while their off stage gear is really with it.

The boys' biggest hit to date is "Love, Hate and Revenge".

At the War Memorial Hall where "The Avengers" played, two other groups also added to the night's music.
