Quality Carcases
A uniformly high standard made judging difficult in the various sections of the A.& P. Association's Export Lamb competition, conducted at the Kaiti Works on November 15. The competition drew a very good number of entries.
Mr Grant McDonald took the title for the champion lamb on the hook.
First (on the hook) for a pair of lambs not exceeding 321bs and suitable for the English market went to Mr John McCredie.
Messrs Roger Hutchinson and "Frosty" Goodall with Waihuka's entry which was reserve champion lamb on the hook.
Three lambs on the hook suitable for the English market and not exceeding 36lbs was won by Mr Harold Thomas.
