Nursing thru' the ages

During the recent Cook Hospital nurses' reunion a parade of costumes was held. These costumes depicted nursing attire through the ages and were modelled by present staff of the hospital. From left, across the top: Mary Pokai in the costume of St. Francis of Assisi. Diana Dowding in the Knight Templar attire of the military era. Juliet Thomas as Fabiola, a Roman lady, said to have built the first Christian hospital in A.D.390, Margaret O'Sullivan as St. Hilda.
