Around the Schools

The honour of having the first swim in the baths went to the first child to be enrolled at school each year since its opening in 1962. These pupils are pictured in the handsome new pool after taking the first plunge. They are: 1962 Kevin Grant, 1963 Wayne Binnie, 1964 Richare Williams, 1965 Sharon Wooster, 1966 Bill Katepa, 1967 Wendy Smith, and 1968 Bruce Lamont.

Diane Searle and Darcy Pitcher were among the members of the Underwater Club who gave a demonstration in the pool.
