Singer Trophy Harbour Swim

The annual harbour swim for the Singer Trophy took place on Saturday, April 20, and ten contestants took part.

After the race, which consisted of four swims the same length as the new wharf, the trophy was presented to the winner, Janice Walker, by Mr A. H. De Costa.

Resting after the race are Burns Scandrett, Barry McLean, Ray Ballantyne, Greg Colebourne and Roy Scott of the Waikanae Surf Life Saving Club who piloted the swimmers during the race.
