Commemorative Service

The Battle of Britain Commemorative Service at the War Memorial was well attended on Sunday, September 16.

The service was conducted by Major Brinsdon of the Salvation Army and the Air Force Association president, Mr Keith Tarry (above), laid the wreath.

Officials at the function were the Mayor. Mr H. H. Barker, Mr G. A. Nicholls, Wing-Commander I. Mitchell, and Mr D. J. Tarry.
