Robieson Shield Bowls

Defeating their opponents from Hastings by 17 points to 11, a Gisborne four won the Robieson Shield at this annual indoor bowling fixture.

Teams totalling 52 entries, including fours from Hawkes Bay, Palmerston North and Taneatua, competed for the trophy, play for which was conducted in the Lytton High assembly hall.

The winning four are Mark Moore (skip), Mrs Jean Moore, Mrs Margaret Watts and Keith Watts.
