Resounding Victory

An attendance of 1,500 saw soccer at a sustained and exciting level when Eastern Union soundly defeated Blockhouse Bay (Auckland) by three goals to one in their Chatham Cup round at the Childers Road Reserve.

Playing with force and speed Eastern Union carried the game along at a great rate and look to have a good chance of carrying off the Chatham Cup this year.
