Takitimu Triumphant

Playing a lively game, Takitimu and Hawke's Bay Maoris provided good football for the large attendance which turned out for the annual challenge for the Tainui and 28th Maori Battalion Cups.

Takitimu retained the cups when they ended the game triumphantly with a score of 18 points to five.
