Impressive Lily

Gisborne's summer weather proved ideal for home gardeners, as was proved by this magnificent Auratum lily, proudly displayed by Mr H. E. Tapping, 27 Centennial Crescent, which produced an all-time record head containing more than 150 beautiful blooms. Five years old, the lily grew a mere 23 blooms last season.
