Primary-intermediate section dux of Edmund Campion College for 1965 was Denis Laracy, son of Mr and Mrs H. J. Laracy, 216 Harris Street.

Three young men from the Gisborne district who recently graduated from the Police Training School at Trentham, and who are now posted to the Wellington area for duty, are, from left: John Moran, nephew of Mr and Mrs A. J. Moran, Hicks Bay, Murray Morrisey, son of Mr and Mrs J. E. Morrisey, Waipiro Bay, and Ian Carmichael, son of Mr and Mrs W. Carmichael, 484 Aberdeen Road.

Dux of the similar section of St. Mary's School was Janet McIntyre, daughter of Mr and Mrs M. F. McIntyre, 147 Fox Street.

Diane and Maxine McKay, daughters of Mr and Mrs Les McKay, Auckland, and formerly of Ormond and Parikanapa Station, who won first prize in the junior section of a talent quest at Whangamata at Christmas.
