Summer Pottery School

An enthusiastic class of twelve enrolled recently at the Lytton High School for a week's course in the art of the potter.

Arranged through the Adult Education Department, Auckland, tuition was given by Miss P. Perrin, an instructor of note from that city. All phases of the art were demonstrated and much was learnt by the students.

In the picture below are, from left, Mesdames D. Kohn, D. Clark, J. Hacking, N. Kohn, A. Ambler (rear), C. Houlahan, Miss Perrin at the wheel, Miss Todd and Mesdames P. Mayfield (rear), M. Findlay, L. Armstrong and J. Sinclair, while at the back is Mr S. Bugden who organised the equipment for the class.
