Boys' High Swimming

Six records fell at the annual Boys' High School swimming sports, held in ideal conditions at the McRae Baths.

Outstanding swimmer of the day was senior champion Jim Westwood, who accounted for four of the new times.

Junior champion Ricky Gear lowered the 100 yards freestyle time and Robert Powell, the 66 2/3 yards open breaststroke.
